Visit the restaurant

It is located on the second floor of a building, a one-minute walk from Jiyugaoka Station on the Tokyu Line. We arrived at 8:30, which is the opening time plus 1 hour and 30 minutes. There was no line at the time of arrival, but two groups entered the restaurant right in front of me, and there was a numbered ticket machine at the entrance.

We took our tickets and waited for 5 minutes, and were soon shown to our seats. Upon being seated, it is explained that the restaurant is open for two hours.

This is the menu that was offered that day. Morning set and other menus are in one book.

Actual meal

I asked the waiter, "Which is the best?" The waiter told us that the Big Brekkie is often served. Based on his comments, we had the following items on the menu this time.

  • Spanish baked eggs: 880 yen
  • Seasonal soup: 250 yen
  • Mango juice: 350 yen

Detailed impressions are below.

  • Spanish baked egg: 880 yen

    • A bright red tomato sauce with sour flavor, sausage, broccoli, and a poached egg? A skillet filled with sausage, broccoli, and poached egg? It comes with bread and salad.
    • The juicy, spicy sausage was a nice combination with the acidity of the tomatoes. Broccoli and other vegetables were abundant. I liked it so much that I thought I would try making it at home. It was juicy and healthy, and the conflicting flavors were well combined.
  • Seasonal soup: 250 yen

    • Was it bean soup? I'm sorry, I don't remember exactly. It was mellow and tasty, that's for sure.
  • Mango juice: 350 yen

    • It was served in a very large bottle. It tasted sweet and fresh.

Comments

The menu was rich in tomatoes at a level I have never encountered before. It was a menu that satisfied both sides of the vegetable/meat equation, with a healthy yet meaty presence. It was a mistake to choose mango as the set drink when the name of the restaurant is LATTE GRAPHIC.
Perhaps cafe latte is the signature menu item, so I should have ordered that. I regret it.

Note

The restaurant is quite spacious and has more seating.
The illustrations painted all over the walls were cool.
