Visit the restaurant

It is located in a residential area, about a 10-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Roppongi Station. I arrived at 8:10, which is opening time plus 10 minutes.
This time, I did not have to worry about waiting in line, as reservations are required for mornings on weekends only.
I was the only one in the restaurant and it was reserved until the end of the day.

This is the menu that was offered that day. Choose from the English morning page and the set tea page.

  • Eggs Benedict: 3,000 yen
  • Original French toast: 2,800 yen

  • Tea set (hot or iced tea can be selected)

    • Little England
      • Nuwara Eliya tea leaves
    • Ceylon Dimbula
    • Butler
      • Ruhuna tea leaves.

The menu is introduced on the store's website. Please refer to the following URL for the latest information.

Actual meal

I ordered the Eggs Benedict. The Saturday and Sunday mornings are served more smoothly if you inform them of the menu when you make a reservation.

  • Eggs Benedict: 3,000 yen
    • Eggs Benedict
    • Salad
    • Soup (Potato Potage)
  • Tea (hot)
    • Butler

Detailed impressions are below.

  • Eggs Benedict
    • Eggs Benedict with bacon🥓, avocado, and poached eggs🍳 on a toasted English muffin. I am proud to be a British maid in choosing English muffin as the base.
    • It tasted like Eggs Benedict.
  • Salad
    • Lettuce salad with Caesar dressing. Crisp.
  • Soup (Potato Potage)
    • Potage soup. Elegant white color.

  • Butler
    • According to the menu, the tea is made from Ruhuna tea leaves. The amount of tea is for one pot, and the first cup is brewed by the maid.
    • The tea was served in a high-end English brand “Wedgwood” teacup. The tea was served in Wedgwood teacups, a luxury English brand, which matched well with the English garden-like interior and, most importantly, the maid's attire and the atmosphere.
    • The taste was delicate and elegant. The taste was delicate and elegant, and I was convinced that the tea was brewed by an English maid.

According to the official website, the concept of the store is “a place in Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic tea brewed by English maids. The concept of the shop is “to enjoy authentic tea brewed by English makers in Tokyo.

I found out when I actually visited the shop. It is not “authentic. It is “real English made” and “real tea.

The teacups, the menu name (meaning “butler”), and the clothes claiming to be made in England made me feel very elegant. You can see why the tea was served first after we placed our order. I guess they wanted us to enjoy the tea first.

I was very satisfied with the tea morning in the quiet restaurant. The luxurious and unusual atmosphere was very nice.

Note

The official website and Instagram make it look quite upscale. Customers in dresses were uploading photos.
So this time I went there in a suit setup. As a result, the maid asked me if I was working today. I may have messed up ・・・・.
I should have visited in more formal clothes.

When you pay your bill, you take this key to the cashier. It seems to be a substitute for a slip of paper.

Scones, tea leaves, and other goods are sold in front of the cash register. I wanted to drink it at home, so I decided to buy some Buter-Butler tea leaves.
It cost 2,500 yen for 60g. It is quite a high-class product.
